We can not schedule appointments for any person who has symptoms of COVID-19, who is living with someone that has symptoms, who has been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19, or who has travelled outside of Canada within 14 days.

Optometrists and Staff will not present to work when ill with symptoms of infection.

Anyone older than 2 years of age entering the office must wear a mask.

Hand sanitizing stations are available at clinic entrances and must be used by anyone entering the clinic.

Optometrists and Staff will sanitize their hands before and after every patient interaction.

Optometrists and Staff will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when interacting with patients and where social distancing cannot be maintained.

Every device or appliance that patients contact will be disinfected before use with the next patient.

No initial (new) contact lens fittings are to be performed at this time (i.e. requiring insertion and removal teaches).

Plexiglass barriers installed at reception and other examination equipment.

Markers or floor decals to direct office flow and maintain social distancing.

Contactless payment options. No cash is being accepted.

Patients may be screened by a touch-free thermometer at clinic entrance.

Only the appointed patient may enter the clinic except for one translator/guardian parent to a minor if required.

Parts of the examination history will be conducted online prior to the appointment date to reduce time spent in the clinic.

Contact lens orders will be directly shipped to patients or pick up by appointment only when appropriate.
